The Shoalhaven River is suffering

At times the river has supplied Sydney with 81% of its water and over extraction is causing pollution and damaging ecosystems. Labor also plans to spend $400 million on a 20km pipeline which would be better spent on water re-use and stormwater harvesting in Sydney.
